ABOUT SAOIRSE

Saoirse Ronan (Seer-Sha) was born in 1993 to parents Paul and Monica Ronan in Ardattin, Ireland.
Her first role was playing Rhiannon Geraghty on "The Clinic" in 2003 and from that there has been no stopping her. She continued by appearing in 3 more episodes of 'The Clinic' In 2005 she landed a part as Orla Borland in the tv series Proof.
In 2006-2007 she booked and filmed 4 movies! The first being 'I Could Never Be Your Woman' starring as Izzie - a daughter of Michelle Pheifer.
Her biggest movie though was Atonement, starring Keira Knightley. Saoirse has a lead role in the movie. It premiered at the 64th Annual Venice Film Festival in the summer of 2007. Saoirse got nominated to many awards for her part in Atonement, including a Best Supporting Actress at the 2008 Academy Awards.
Saoirse has a bright future a head of her! She resently booked the lead part of Susie Salmon in the movie adaptation of the best selling book 'Lovely Bones'
Lovely Bones follows a rape and murder victim as she watches her family down from heaven. The movie is directed by Peter Jackson (lord of the rings) and has just finished filming.
When she is not filming she attends school in Ardattin and loves playing with her dog, Sassy.
